Jay Shree Swaminarayan,
No doubt, you will have seen in the news that the catastrophic second wave of COVID-19 has overwhelmed the healthcare systems in India. To see their struggle is heart-breaking; hospitals are unbearably full and oxygen supplies are running low.
To aid this, East London Mandir have opened up a fundraising programme for the purchase and distribution of essential kits such as masks, sanitisers, medications, oximeters, ventilators and oxygen concentrators, all with the help of local organisations.
Please donate generously and safely via https://www.eltemple.uk/donation (by BACS, PayPal or in person at the mandir desk) and identify your donation as COVID-19.

A massive THANK YOU is owed to everyone who donated items, small or big. We had an overwhelming response! On Christmas Eve, all 545 KG of combined food and clothing were delivered to Whitechapel Misson!
With the number of homeless people on the rise, the assistance needed for those men and women sleeping rough is greater than ever before. On average Whitechapel Mission feed 600 people a day in the area.
