Pitru Katha – 19th to 25th September /
Pitru Paksha (“fortnight of ancestors“) is a period in the month of Bhadarva marked by charity in the name of our forefathers and has its meaning embedded in a story of Karna in the Mahabharat.
East London Mandir is holding a week long Pitru Katha from Monday the 19th to Sunday the 25th of September to which all are invited.
The Shreemad Bhagwad will be read, and the katha times are from 9am to 11am, and 5pm to 7.30pm. Mahaprashaad for all from 12.30pm on Sunday 25th September.
