Our utsav will be taking place from Sunday 18th August to Sunday 25th August 2019. This year marks 10 years since our beloved Shiv-Parvati murti was installed in our Mandir and as such, this utsav has been marked as the Shree Shideshvar Mahadev Dashabdi Mahotsav!
Please take note of the events occurring on each day from the timetable, and the dress code for both ladies and gents on the poster below!
This year, both the sessions of the katha will be taking place in Swaminarayan Sports World (SSW). The only event that will be taking place in the Mandir is Abhishekh on Sunday 25th August from 6:30am onwards.
Morning aarti will take place at 9am and evening aarti at 5pm followed by katha.
(Please note that Yoga sessions will continue during Patosav, Sporting Saturday sessions will not take place on Saturday 24th August).

After the success of numerous Yuvak Nights, on Saturday 14th September, the yuvatis of East London Mandir are hosting their very own Ladies Night! Come along for some food, games and captivating discussions on the topics that affect us all as women in this society.
Bring your thinking caps for an intriguing escape rooms style puzzle, where you’ll have to test your team work and logical reasoning. Immerse yourselves in a tropical forest, surrounded by the sounds of birds, the rustling of monkeys moving through the trees and a trail of clues to help you get to safety. As the clock counts down, the pressure is on for The Great Escape.
We’re also holding a Nari Shakti Exhibition – honoring women from all walks of life that have left an impact on us – from household names and personal connections, to those unknown names and faces around the world that provide us a new lens through which we can view the world.

There is a Partial Eclipse of the Moon that should be observed and falls on Tuesday 16th July 2019. Its timings are as follows:

Maximum eclipse – 22:30 BST
End time – 00:00 BST

According to our Sampraday, consumption of food should stop from 12:00 BST on Tuesday 16th July 2019. Children, elderly, the unable and unwell individuals who can observe should obey the fast from 17:55 BST on the same day.

With Cricket World Cup 2019 kicking off today it gives us great pleasure to inform you that there will be live screening of selected weekend India games on the big screen at SSW for all.
Refreshments and snacks will be served.
SSW fields will be open for other sports too.
We trust the weather stands up and it’ll be great days out with friends and families!

On Friday 19th April, we will be celebrating Hanuman Jayanti. Hanumanji has never failed to protect Bhagwan. Whether it is during the time of Ram, Shyam or Ghanshyam. Let us celebrate this day with a reminder that he is always looking out for us. May our faith always be greater than our fears.
