Dhanurmaas – 17th December to 14th January

Jay Shree Swaminarayan,

Dhanurmaas starts on Saturday 17th December and ends on Saturday 14th January 2023.

Please join us every Sunday during this month for dhun between 8:30-9:30am.

During Dhanurmas, it is considered auspicious to perform good deeds early in the morning and so, dhuns and kirtans are usually sung. Also during this month, Shree Krushna Bhagwan also went to his guru – Sandipani Rushi, to receive his education. We commemorate this by waking Ghanshyam Maharaj up early and adorning the sinhasan to prepare him for school.

You can donate for the occasion via https://www.eltemple.uk/donation, or in person at the Temple!
